An acrylic painting of a young female wolf in a middle eastern setting. There is a bit of symbolism in this piece, as wolves have been hated, persecuted and misunderstood for ages now and sadly in the human world, our modern day 'wolf' is the middle easterner. Both suffer the same blind hatred, yet both have so much beauty to share with the world, if only we let them.
This piece was inspired by a lot of things, including my boyfriend and all the photos/home videos he has shown me of his home country, and also those stunning photos of middle eastern women dressed up like this and such. My boyfriend has a photo book with nothing but photos of Iran, it's amazing how many different colors and patterns they have for their outfits. So pretty!
I like your viewpoint on the symbolism that you used in this piece. You have a very valid point, and I really like how you used that point to create this work of art.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
