Not all anthro art is bad, or all super smutty or anything. :) I find the genre fun!

I know, its just that i've experienced WAY too many shitty anthro art. The good ones, like pretty much everything in your gallery surprisingly, are very rare.. almost extinct.
:iconcaroro:
Alot of us are trying to bring it back to life! Lol xD But I would kinda say the same would go for alot of art in general... mostly anthro, anime, and fanart by its self.

I agree to an extent, seeing as my own anthro art sucks ^^'. I do aspire to become a great artist, don't be creeped out Star, but you are my idol haha.
Every genre of art has bad peices, it's one of those little Murphy's Laws of art.

When a certain genre of art becomes popular or more appealing, people will try to join in, and the not so good artists *such as myself* will submit peices that are nothing compared to art like this.

Rant on my own kin over, I love this, you can really tell how much time and effort was spent to make this look the way it is. Instant favourite <3.

I know alot of exceptional artists start off drawing what is popular, but I'm beginning to wonder how many "true" artists there are, who draw upon their emotions and dreams, rather than what they think society will except them for. No offense anyone, but I think the greatest artists are those who get inspiration primarily from themselves, are indifferent about what people think of the content, and draw what they draw because of muse and epiphany, rather than because they just saw someone else draw the same thing and they want to try. Don't get me wrong, there are a few artists out there who have spent their entire life drawing things based on what everyone else has done, and they are AMAZING at it, but I don't think their art is as honorable as those who create a whole new story line or idea and explain it like a classic novel, all with pictures, light, and no words...

Again, I'm not out to offend anyone or start a fight. Just stating my opinion, and I like to hear everyone else's :>
